Rule Of Thirds.

When learning to use the camera, I have watched this video to learn more about the rule of thirds:

This video helped me to find out what shots should be placed on which lines and how to space objects within my pictures. One useful tip that I will use from this video is placing the eyes of the model on the top line when taking a medium close up picture.

Billboard Magazine Statistics.

The audience of Billboard magazine is both males and females that are interested in the latest music and a range of the top artists.

The age range of this magazine would be from 20-50 with most of their audience being around the age of 47. However, it states that 68% of the audience are collage grads. Therefore the age range is towards more mid 30's

Gender seems to be more towards males with more male dominated pages. However, 23% of women to read billboard magazine.

The type of music is top charts and pop music for both genders with some of the artist clearly dominated to women. However, the magazine does focus on celebrities of the likes of: Beyonce, the weeknd and Taylor Swift.

The price of a standard Billboard magazine without subscription  is £6.91. However, you can also get a 12 month subscription for £359.00

The house style for Billboard magazine is modern and always contains block colors contrasted with white.

The title Billboard suggests how it is the biggest thing and you should buy it as Billboards are commonly showing someone the latest product and trying to persuade them into buying it.

The color palette that billboard follows is commonly primary colors which gives a simplistic look. However, draws you in to what the articles are about in that issue.
